Somerset Beat Deccan Charger by 1 Wicket - Champion League T20IPL Champion Deccan Charger have tasted their first defeat from Somerset by 1 wicket.
VVS Laxman opened the inning with Skipper Adam Gilchrist, Both set a platform for the Deccan with Quick fire but at the same time Deccan were losing wickets at regular intervals. Laxman top scored with 46 from 35balls.
However Deccan managed to reach a score of 153.
Somerset lost wicket Trescothick and Skipper Justin Langer to RP Singh, but superb batting performance by Thomas and Hildreth reached the target in the final over of last ball.
Deccan Charger got the set back when fast bowler Edwards was sent back by the umpire due to Twice NO BALL.
Somerset required 5runs in last over. Adam Gilchrist hand over the final over to Scot Styris, Styris took two wickets and match went on to last ball with one ball one run, Thomas smashed Styris to four in the final Ball.
